About Us
CambsArt is a two-person business run by artist Dr Helen Hale and photographer Tim Coles. We are based in the gently rolling hills of the West Cambridgeshire countryside, where we can be visited by appointment should you so wish.
We offer Helen’s paintings and drawings either as originals, or as limited-edition prints, and we offer Tim’s photographs as prints.
Dr Helen Hale
Helen is an artist who delights in portraying natural world subjects in a variety of media. She has developed her skills over a number of years and now tends to specialise in animals and birds, often giving the subject a wonderfully expressive facial expression. Helen is a Fellow of the Zoological Society of London, with experience which serves to enhance her deep understanding and appreciation of the natural world. She is equally at home using pencils, pastels, or watercolours on art paper, or acrylics and oils on canvas.
Until now, Helen has not offered her skills to a wider audience but following retirement from her career in the pharmaceutical industry, she will be offering both original artwork and limited-edition prints for sale in the UK, and across the World.
Tim Coles
Tim is an amateur photographer and is a past member of several photographic societies. A number of his images have been published, and one or two have gained minor awards.
Subjects include amongst others, gardens, landscapes, flowers, and trains, both full size and miniature.
Like Helen, Tim is approaching retirement from a career in engineering, and is now offering his photographs for sale to a wider audience. His sometimes colourful, sometimes restful images will enhance any dwelling, or commercial establishment.
